Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Structured Cabling Technician – ELV Systems to install, maintain, and
troubleshoot structured cabling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with copper and
fiber optic cabling, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards. The role requires
expertise in copper and fiber optic cabling and experience with ELV solutions, including CCTV, access
control, public address (PA) systems, and IPTV.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot Cat6, Cat6a, Cat3 and fiber optic cables, and associated
  hardware.
• Perform structured cabling installations following industry and manufacturer standards.
• Install and configure ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, PA systems, and IPTV.
• Conduct cable testing, certification, and troubleshooting using appropriate tools.
• Install patch panels, racks, cable trays, conduits, and junction boxes for ELV and network
  infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for system installations.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely
  completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Structured Cabling Technician with expertise in ELV systems.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards and ELV system installations.
• Experience with low-voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, IPTV, and public address.
• Familiarity with fluke testing, OTDR testing, and network infrastructure.
• Ability to use tools such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, cable testers, and punch-down tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or elevated locations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
